What is 'Honours equivalent degree'?

I am planning to apply for a PhD Scholarship,
they require a 'Honours equivalent Degree' , but there is not this kind of degree in China.
How to explain it in a application?

Is it right?  The describtion is 'honours equivalent degree ' or Master degree.

honours degree就是本科读好以后，如果成绩非常好，可以读honours荣誉学位。honours毕业可以直接申请PHD.如果没有honours,那么要读master以后才能读phd. 从某种意义上说honours = master,但是honours比master强，因为不是没个人都能读honours的，只有成绩到达一定标准才可以。

My younger brother is doing Honours course, if you don't have honours degree, you should prove them you got  master degree with research background. normally master only by cousework can't apply PHD, but you can try it.   Hope your application can be accepted.

of course you can, but your academic record should be good or ok.

只有少数专业的本科学历可以申请APA. honour是英国教育体系里的一个阶段，在中国的教育体系里并没有相应的阶段. 基本上honour和master可以看做平行的阶段. master by coursework的成绩一般是不可以用来申请APA的,除非在master阶段有很多research才可以. honour equivalent是说有一些人虽然没有读过honour,但是有很长时间的工作并且有专业学院的fellowship, 就可以认为是honour equivalent, eg: fellow of RACP, RACGP, etc.
