ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Passport holders of the countries listed above who hold Australian permanent or
temporary resident visas are required to comply with the visa application process as
follows:
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VISA APPLICATION
Applicant must submit documents as follows:
Three (3) completed and signed visa application forms (all three forms must be
original and completed by handwriting);
Three (3) passport size photographs;
Three (3) photocopies of itinerary (Flight details: arrival & departure from Thailand);
Three (3) photocopies of documents confirming the full pre-paid accommodation in
Thailand or an invitation letter from a reference person in Thailand with photocopies
of his/her ID card or proof of residence in Thailand;
Verification letter (1 original and 2 copies) from workplace, school or university
Business visa applicants must provide a sponsorship letter from your company or
organization;
Three (3) photocopies of passport with validity not less than 6 months;
Three (3) photocopies of valid permanent or temporary Australian resident visa;
Three (3) photocopies of ID card or other acceptable ID card (student card, agency
ID card, driver’s license) issued by Australian authorities;
Registered Post envelop with sender details (if apply by post).
VISA FEE
Tourist visa fee exemption from 11 May 2010 – 31 March 2011. (normal fee is AUD
$45 for single entry; AUD $90 for double entries).
Transit visa is AUD $35 for single entry; AUD $70 for double entries.
Non-Immigrant visa fee is AUD $90.
VALIDITY OF A VISA
The validity of a visa is 3 months.
Notes:
Visa processing time may take up to 3 weeks.
The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the rights not to inform the reason to those whose
application is rejected.
The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the rights not to consider or process visa
application of those persons claiming to receive conflicting or wrong information
from other sources.
The visa processing time and required documents are not negotiable.
The issuance of visa is at the discretion of the consular officer.
