entitled to get salary packaging (max $9094). however, after calculation, low income as 30000, there won't be any benefit. As the taxable income is much lower so less tax can be claimed later.
for example, on pay slip,
after salary packaging,
the total fornight is 1500, deduction before tax is 500 (which compose of admin fee 3, TaxSav 47, and salary package 450). Taxable income is 1000. Tax is around 100. and Net pay is 900. what deposit into ATM card will be 1350 (=900+450) -- I wonder what that TaxSav part mean. as I lose this part as something I can claim tax.
the taxable income after salary packaging, for low income earner, there will be much less tax claimed back. So it might even have the effect that there will be less if considering the tax return. Am I right? |
