这句话是我FINANCE RISK MANAGEMENT里的一句话，看了几遍， 越看越糊涂了，大家帮忙翻翻。
One party agrees to pay the contract rate for a term - often three or six months, with the term to commence at an agreed future date. The 5 per cent fixed-rate payer on a $1 million six-month versus nine-month FRA locks in that interest rate for the three-month period beginning in six months' time. If the three-month market interest rate in six months is higher than 5 per cent, the fix-rate payer receives the difference between 5 per cent and the market rate. If the market rate is less than 5 per cent, the fixed rate payer pays the difference.
