I have an investment property, can I take interest as expense to deduct? but I checked the tax, it is said it will be take as cost , not expenditure, if I bought this property for capital gain?

Yes you can.

the interest expenditure is an expense if u use ur investment property to generate assessable income (eg for rental income)

If not the interest will become a part of ur cose base when calculate the capital gain

U can ONLY pick up one
