Qualifications & experience
Have a desire or experience in working in the building industry and a willingness to learn and grow with the company
Confident user of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High attention to detail
Positive and can-do attitude
Be genuinely interested in a career in administration and office support
Tasks & responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and issue of building permit applications and other related building applications as directed.
Data entry in the registration and issue of building applications.
Liaise with draftsperson, engineers, and authorities to gather information required for permits.
Provide general admin support to colleagues.
Provide timely communications to clients, authorities, and colleagues on the progress of permit applications.
Handle inquiries via phone and company email account.
Maintain client files, update data, and set follow-ups on pending docs/ issues.
Report and book building permit mandatory inspections.
Provide a high level of customer service via emails and over the phone.
