Freight Operations Clerk

We are looking for a highly motivated, results driven Import Sea and Airfreight Operations professional staff.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in import operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager,  your duties will include:
Preparation of import documentation and data entry
Registering and co-ordination of import shipments
Facilitating airport and sea port collection and consignee deliveries
Interacting with customers / shipping lines / airlines / co-loaders / overseas agents and transport companies
Liaise with customers – via telephone and email
Assist with the collection of outstanding debts as required
Maintain existing customers and develop new business opportunities

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
International freight forwarding import air and sea freight experience preferred but not required
Previous experience with Cargowise system, would be advantageous 
Ability to work effectively with the internal operations team 
Able to meet deadlines and a high level of accuracy
Superior customer service skills
Can work at home or online but need be available via phone/email/ at full time basis
