Job Description:
The Assistant Accountant will be providing support to the finance controller by maintaining key accountabilities with accounts receivable, accounts payable, daily accounts and finance management.
- Manage general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner as agreed with the direct report
- Processing Payroll, processing and issuing invoices
- Assisting with month-end reporting
- Preparation of financial reports and budgets, and Prepare tax documentation
- Reviewing expenses against budgets, Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Other key responsibilities in this position will include;
- General office administration as directed by the Employer.
About You:
As the successful applicant you will have:
An Accounting degree, CPA or equivalent (or working towards CPA or equivalent)
Mandarin speaking is an advantage
One to two years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to prioritise workload and ensure tasks are completed as assigned within requested timeframe
