Job Description: Engineer/Administrator
Job Purpose:
To provide remote site technical support to the customer, and secondary administrative duties supporting management.
Responsibilities
• Taking jobs from the Incident Management queue (Clarify), support hardware and software within the OS environment
• Provide local 2nd level desktop support to an environment consisting of Windows XP
• Help to create additional remote site tools
• Assisted in the refinement of remote site support processes at weekly meetings
• Understand and consistently exceeded the Service Level Agreement for the customer account
• First line of defense to asses cases that are not related to the IT Desktop Break/Fix group
• Administer the Local Admin Request process
• Administer the 3rd Party Pass Through Cost process
• Assist in data gathering/report preparation on a weekly and monthly basis
• Prepare Invoice Requests and maintain the Project Change Request Register
• Maintain the IMS Document Library, for Process and Work Instructions for all teams
• Take minutes and record actions at weekly and monthly meetings
• Opportunity to assist Project Managers, and develop the Project Office

Candidate Profile
• At lease 2 years experience in a similar environment;
• Degree or technical certification;
• Strong customer service skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills gained in a customer service environment;
• A creative thinker, this person demonstrates initiative and is willing to go the ‘extra mile’;
• Track record of being a team player in a changing environment;
• Strong Administrative Skills.
