请问Investment of Deposit是个什么鬼？

买一个house（多军空军轻拍），付了首付·10%，收到房产中介美美如下邮件，大家帮忙看看这个是个啥
投资要是赔光了我首付也没了？还要税号，看起来老吓人的样子...

We would like to advise that vendors have instructed us to have the deposit invested whilst awaiting settlement.

To have your half share of interest on the deposit funds transferred directly into your bank account on settlement, please advise us of your bank account details below. Macquarie Bank charges $10.00 per cheque issued in the event that you prefer it in cheque form. Funds will be available 24 hours from notification of settlement from your Solicitor (please note that any settlements that occur after 2:30pm may not be able to be actioned as the invested funds account closure cuts off at 3pm each business day).

没有啦，就是存定期，回头赚的利息付你们一半。

这种钱坚决不赚，问你律师就清楚了。应该放在一个trust的账户的

今天问问我的律师吧，如果就是一个存款利息，我看不出来有啥风险...
钱在中介，他们已经存进去了，今天给我发信是这么回复的
We deposit the money in an interest bearing account with Macquarie Bank and then divide the interest with the vendor and yourselves  I will await for your instructions

哦，我的律师从来就没同意过把钱拿去存定期，他坚决要求去TRUST帐户。不过风险是不大。

电话问过律师了，说这个收益小的可以忽略不计，愿意折腾就给他们信息也无所谓...
看起来还是宅子不够豪，首付太少啊
