Credit Cards – Credit Analyst
About the role
As a Credit Analyst you will be positioned to provide timely analysis and ability to decision applications. The role requires an ability to assess using risk profiling techniques that will limit the risk associated with lending practises. In return, you will be given an opportunity to take ownership and accountability, for your workload, in our flexible, activity based work space.
Key Responsibilities
Working as part of a supportive, high performing credit team you will be responsible for:
reviewing and assessing credit card applications in accordance with established parameters
assessing eligibility for requested credit limit increases as part of our ongoing portfolio management
Taking ownership of client’s queries and using your industry knowledge and experience to overcome challenges and problem solve.
exceeding service quality standards and striving for continuous process improvement
working with internal/external stakeholder to improve our policies and procedures
About you
You will have previous credit experience, be comfortable working in a fast pace moving and changing environment, you must be success driven and seek continual improvementby realising opportunities for the benefit of our clients and our business.
an existing approval delegation / DLA – Preferred
able to demonstrate knowledge of credit card application process in a retail banking environment
outstanding communication skills and a strong client focus
the ability to work autonomously, manage business pressures and client expectations
strong analytical problem solving skills and a commercial mindset
possess the ability to easily build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional financial analysis skills and intermediate MS Excel skills.
