Graduate or Junior .Net Developer – IT
E-VIS is a professional IT Development company specialising in local government applications, Electronic Document Management solutions and Web Site Development and Design. We are currently seeking a .net Developer to join our dynamic South Yarra based team. This is a full-time position and is ideally suited to either a recent graduate who needs to have a good academic record that includes industrial experience projects or a developer with 1-2 years of solid experience working in the industry.
The successful applicant will be neatly presented, enthusiastic and a team player. You will need to be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own but also as part of a team. We are looking for someone who displays initiative, who is accountable for their work, displays good leadership skills and has excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow sound documentation procedures. You will also have great communication skills which will be crucial when you liaise with clients.
You will ideally have:
- Proven 1-2 years experience developing
- Strong design ability
- ASP.Net 1.1/2.0; Javascript/Ajax; C#, Web Services, SQL Server 2000/2005
- Good understanding of up to date internet technologies
- Knowledge and experience working with local council systems, particularly planning and building permits, would be an advantage.
- Knowledge on graphic design (basic photoshop skills)will be an advantage.
Other Skills:
- Must be articulate and comfortable dealing with clients with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Adheres to good documentation practices
- Must be able to work without supervision and as part of a team
- Experience as a team leader or similar would be a plus
Remuneration:
- Immediate start
- Negotiable salary package 50k – 65k
