昨天电视里听来的, Tongue-in-cheek, 意为幽默的胡说八道. 长到面颊上的舌头说出来的话, 你信吗? 这个用法早在1845年就有记录, 70年代生人把它发扬光大了.

Tongue-in-cheek is a term used to refer to humor in which a statement, or an entire fictional work, is not meant to be taken seriously, but its lack of seriousness is subtle. (source from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongue-in-cheek)
