Award is the national industry (not just for one or two companies) minimum employment standards and it is reviewed by FairWork Australian very a few years ( not sure how often?).
EBA is a registered collective agreement between employees and the employer. It serves for a certain company or a few similar companies, not for whole industry
EBA has to be better off overall compared with Award and that's why normally EBA is more beneficial for employees.
EBA has an expire date.
Eligible EBA overwrites Award where conflicts, such as annual leave loading, allowance etc.
