早前说要杯葛奥运会开幕式的法国总统尼古拉－萨克西今天还是会出席开幕式。
英国首相Gordon Brown和德国的总理Angela Merkel不会出席。

Gordon Brown will attend the closing ceremony as UK is the next host country. Merkel? She can keep whinging for the rest of her life. China overtook Germany as the 4th biggest economy in the world by ANY standard this year. Germany can wait for maybe another millennium or two to get a chance again. Maybe it won't even last that long itself.
