a leap of faith: If you take a leap of faith, you do something even though you are not sure it is right or will succeed.

你明知可能不会成功，但是还是要去做，就需要有足够的信心，中文怎么说，叫“信心爆棚”，或冒险一试？

因为burrowing frogs – the water-holding frog (Cyclorana platycephala). 是长居地下，你去了不一定下大雨，不下大雨，它不出来。


所以这句话：
对于研究这种在澳大利亚的干旱地区来说最常见的物种之一，burrowing frogs 的人来说，可能需要点冒险精神加一点运气吧。

日本现在这样不是挺好的吗，英语是给外国人看的，那就按外国人的习惯呗
