Australian manufacturers wishing to source fasteners and stamped parts can take advantage of the Taiwan manufacturers delegation visiting Sydney and Melbourne in the next two weeks.
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has organised 14 companies to visit Australia and New Zealand from September 29 to October 8, 2014.
The visiting team will showcase their latest products and local manufacturers will have the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with the Taiwanese supplier delegates.
Taiwan is often referred to as a "Fasteners Kingdom". The nation supplies to nearly 150 countries across the globe. Exports of fasteners last year reached US$3.86 billion.
Taiwan attributes its success to its high quality materials, skilled technical resource, long-term production experience, stable material supply and efficient manufacturing system.
The visiting Taiwanese fastener companies include Chite Enterprises, Ray Fu Enterprise, Boss Precision Works and Your Choice Fasteners & Tools.
These companies specialise in different areas of screw/ fastener manufacturing, thus providing Australia and New Zealand companies a range of products (including stainless steel flat washers, drywall screws, blind rivets, bi-metal self-drilling screws, fasteners for automobiles, machinery, roofing screws, bolts, other types of washers, screws making machines, etc.) to choose from.
The dates and locations of the trade meetings are as follows:
Sydney
September 30, Four Seasons Hotel
Melbourne
October 2, Stamford Plaza Hotel
Auckland
October 6, Rendezvous Grand Hotel
To participate in the Taiwan trade meetings, make an appointment online, or obtain further information, visit the Mission’s website or phone 02 9231 5959. Light refreshments will be served during the meeting.
