请教关于SKILLMAX

看到很多人都有去SKILLMAX,很多还从里面得到了很大的帮助..
想问一下这个是什么东西? 是一个机构么? 在墨尔本怎样可以申请呢?

AMES下属的Skillmax能帮你获得本地经验，它是一个政府资助的专门帮助新移民提高找工技巧，锻炼英语并尽可能给你推荐实习单位的机构。

它提供的免费英语和新移民有关的主要有2个:
1.AMEP
是给那些交了EEC的移民配偶的,即所谓的免费的510小时的英语培训.
Adult Migrant English Programme Funded by the Australian Government, through the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, the Adult Migrant English Programme (AMEP) provides up to 510 hours of free English study to eligible migrants and refugees. Humanitarian entrants may be eligible for additional hours.

You may be eligible for free English tuition under the AMEP if you:

are a newly arrived migrant, refugee or humanitarian entrant from overseas
are at least 18 years old
have a less than functional level of English
arrived in Australia after 1 July 1991
are a temporary resident who holds a gazetted visa
have been granted permanent residence in Australia since 1 July 1991
are aged between 16 and 18 years and unable to attend English classes at school
register within 3 months of arriving in Australia

2.Skillmax
for jobseekers
要具备一定的听说能力(中高级程度), 围绕"澳洲找工作"的主题进行, 非常有帮助!
Skillmax Program Funded by the NSW State Government, the Skillmax Program assists unemployed and underemployed skilled migrants to improve their jobseeking and workplace communication skills.

You may be eligible if you:

have overseas qualifications, skills and training
are a migrant from a non-English speaking background
are a permanent resident of Australia

2.Skillmax ,for jobseekers  对新移民是免费的吗?
第一个基本不适合留学移民的人，英语档次比较低的说...原来陪一个务工来的朋友去问过

是免费的，会先面试你一下（含一个小作文），然后就安排你上课了。
