lz可以考虑送侄女去教会学校，学校要求严格一些，做规矩不错的，对于叛逆期的小孩比较好，基本不会乱来神马的，你也省一点心

维州公立学校留学，本人算权威人士。
Balwyn  High 就算有名额，也比私校更难进，因为每个留学生都要通过考试选拔才能进Balwyn High。LZ还是实际一点，让孩子进靠近你家的又收国际留学生的学校吧。有问题可以站内跟我联系。

在这里读完高中和大学，毕业也不一定能移民留在澳洲，又面临回国就业的问题。

我侄女在国内读初中，也面临这些问题，在国内上学太辛苦，来澳洲读书前途也未知，都不知道怎么选择了

在澳洲读完高中不需要考雅思的，直接参加VCE考试升大学。

你的忧虑是普遍存在的情况。目前技术移民也不容易了，但至少来澳洲留学高中+大学，这么几年下来英语应该是没有问题了，更重要的是留学经历是很宝贵的人生经验，即使再回到国内跟没有出国留学的孩子相比各方面肯定是不一样的。至少像我，在澳洲独立生活这么多年，从一个从来没有离开父母的吃喝拉撒都是老妈照顾的孩子哭着上的飞机，初到墨尔本的一个月天天晚上都要哭一阵子，基本上每天晚上都是伴着从国内带来的歌曲磁带睡着的。呵呵，后来认识了很多朋友，活动也多。渐渐的就很少给家打电话了。再后来适应了澳洲的生活，这么多年下来，老妈说我性格开朗了许多，爱说话了，人也独立很多。目前我都回国住了3年了，工作确实也不好找，高不成低不就的，目前的工作干了一年多了，经历了太多复杂的事情，真不想继续待下去，人活着好累。今年打算给1岁多的女儿办移民，跟老公一起回墨尔本。

AEAS test要拿多少分能被私校录取呢？对国内的初中生来说难度怎样？对这个还处于没概念阶段。
公立学校不考AEAS，他们依据什么录取，国内的初中成绩单重要吗？
要给国内的侄女打听，还请大家指点

公立学校要AEAS 80 或 雅思5.0 才能免20周语言课程。申请公立学校主要看初中成绩。

初中生的申请要到四月份以后才会受理。
好的公立学校不容易进，要看学生的成绩的。如果是今年7月想来，要尽快递交申请。注意一定要找教育部授权的中介。
国际留学生不需要住校区里面，不过不要离学校太远。 Kew High School 2015年10年级也差不多满了，不过你这个孩子可以考虑Melbourne Girls College, 也是很好的一个公立学校。

For boy, which public schools would you suggest in Melbourne? his results should be pretty good. Does he need to plan to have some test to study here? Do they have to apply through agent? Also most important which year level would you suggest for international student to come to get better results in VCE?

我打算帮侄女申请PLC，发邮件过去咨询了，很快得到回复，说15年上10年级的话现在就可以申请了，看来目前为止留学生招收的还没有满。不过她是建议孩子去了住PLC的boarding house。据说这个女校在私校里面算是很好的了跟MLC差不多，而且VCE的总成绩也是很不错的。当然学费很贵。打算同时再申请另外两家学校，camberwell girls grammer 和 Fintona girls 拿到offer 再选其一。目前就等侄女考试AEAS考试结果了。

The 3 schools are all private schools and have good academic results in VCE.

If your brother or his wife is not accompanying the child then the child will have to live with you. It would be practical for the child to attend a school not too far away from where you live.

So which suburb do you live in?

In regards to year level, we have students from all over the world coming to do Pre-Year 12. It really depends on the parents' expectation. Coming earlier will benefit the student's English skills, I'm not really sure if that will disadvantage his Chinese language development.

If you have time to read all instructions and requirement on our website and the immigration website, you can apply for your nephew yourself. However if the student is from Fujian or Shenyang, Xinjiang or Tibet, I strongly suggest that you use an agent.

如果孩子来读高中，考VCE或者HSC，直升大学，不需要雅思。但是大学对孩子的EAL的分数是有要求的。现在的政策读完大学，可以申请工作签证2－4年。至于能不能找到工作，然后移民是要看孩子本身的能力和运气的。

English as additional language, 所有留学生要选的英语课程啊。12年级的算入 ATAR的分数。

Lucky he is not from one of the area you mentioned. We are current lived in Berwick. However we are not sure about the public school in the area. I've heard Mckinnon and University high school are all very good public school, therefore we also thinking might be move to area around that school zone in the future.

Of course it's also depends on how expensive the house would be. heheheh......

What's your suggestion?

If the student attends another school and doesn't live with you, the student has to pay $280 per week for homestay fees.
University High School doesn't take international students at all. McKinnon Secondary College has very strict entry requirement for international students, it would be very lucky if your nephew could get in. If you live in somewhere near McKinnon, it will help the student to get into McKinnon SC because the school then doesn't need to find a homestay for the student.
Good luck and hope you move to Brighton or McKinnon soon.

Anyway, good thing is not now but in 3-4 years!
