Role: Release Engineer/Implementation Coordinator
Responsible for liaising internally with other functions such as BA, QA, Dev and Ops teams. The role is a mix of Operations, Technical Project Management and Release Management.
Skills required
• Around 5 years of commercial experience being involved with software & configuration deployment projects of small / medium size
• Essential: Linux/Unix operating systems experience
• Advanced Scripting skills (Perl, Bash, or alike, ..)
• Process improvement, ability to see and suggest how to better deliver and release changes into the production environment, ability to operate as a change agent
• Demonstrated experience with scheduling and coordination of software and configuration deployments
• Good experience writing and maintaining technical documentation (including deployment plans and release notes)
• Understanding of the full SDLC and experience in working in development projects
Role: Java developer (Senior and Graduate level)
Java Developer to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces for the xxx product.
Skills required
• Strong Java development experience
• Strong Linux operating system experience
• Strong Unix/Linux Shell/Bash scripting
• Understanding of multi-threading
• Passion for development
Role: Java developer (1 year contract with the potential to go permanent)
The xxx system is a new offering that meets the risk management needs of exchanges and clearing houses.
The position is for a well-rounded, result oriented Java developer and will involve Hands-on Java development; Issue investigation and resolution; Client facing support and troubleshooting ; Requirements gathering, design and documentation.
Skills required
• 2-4 years application development experience, server and/or client side applications
• Advanced knowledge and significant programming experience developing software in Java
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience using Windows or Linux
• This is a client facing role therefore applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work quickly as a self-starter, and an ability to work well within a small, geographically distributed, team environment
• Exposure to JBoss, HornetQ, Gwt, Infinispan and XML are beneficial

Role Credit Manager (Sydney or HK)
The prime responsibility for this role is to ensure Accounts Receivable is in compliance with xxx Global Control Standards. This person will control credit/collection functions and recommend policies to ensure that an acceptable level of risk is maintained, repayments are made on time, losses are kept to a minimum, and bad debts are economically collected.
Skills required
• At least 5 years relevant experience in accounting and/or credit control coupled with recognised qualifications in credit management.
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Strong administration and management skills
• Effective presentation skills
• Energetic and resilient professional who has a demonstrated capability in achieving outstanding business results
• Experience of working in shared services environment
• Experience in a global company with exposure to multiple legal entities structure would be beneficial
Role: Financial Accountant (will open in the new year)
Responsible for
• Assisting with the Statutory audit and preparation of financial statements
• Assisting with the R& D tax concession claims
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with the intercompany process and month – end process
• Assisting with the implementation with the xxx system in Singapore and Hong Kong in 2014
• Preparation of month-end reporting requirements
Skills required
• CA Qualified
• Could be first time mover out of the profession
• At least 3 years working experience in a Commercial environment or the profession
• Excellent Communication skills
