The Essential Secondary Science Assessment(ESSA)考试怎么准备呀？

RT, 上周收到通知说： The test for Year 8 students will be held between Monday 11 November and Friday 15 November 2013. The test takes approximately 80 minutes. The test is an interactive, multimedia test completed entirely on a computer. It is called ESSAonline.
      ESSAonline contains multiple choice, short response and extended response tasks that are grouped around real-world issues, including scientific investigations. This is a diagnostic test, with tasks framed on Stage 4 outcomes and essential content in the NSW Science Years 7–10 Syllabus.
    问过孩子，他说学校的science课没有教材，他也不知道该怎么复习，带他去书店买辅导书，店主说没听说过这个考试。除了excel外也没什么推荐。又不得不问了老师，老师只说认真看课堂上的笔记。担心考试又不是任课老师出题，仅仅看笔记能保证复习全面吗？ 心里真是没底。不知怎么能帮到孩子，所以发个贴子求助。
      请问有了解这个考试的家长吗？通常孩子是怎么准备的？有相应的教材和辅导资料推荐吗？加分感谢！

这个考试应该类似 naplan,是基础性的科学方面考试，比较基础，简单，放轻松。俺不知道，问了儿子才知道他以前考过。

     谢谢！孩子说看了笔记又买了excel的书，看来应该没什么问题。
    孩子刚来时的那个学校，学校都统一借教材给学生，不知为什么现在就读的中学没教材，全靠课上认真记笔记。
