Wow... that's a good piece of information there. Initially I thought that the hull length will be 5.75m as would the model 1900 shows.

I notice there is a few 2100 (6.1m) Whittley Clearwater walkaround available in NSW and doubtful if they are too heavy and bulky to launch as with the ramp here in Port Phillip Bay.

For example when there is a neap tide in certain ramp in Port Phillip Bay the highest level is slightly 0.5m of water.  It is often seeing people get stranded on shallow water waiting for high tide to launch or retrieve their boats.

What do you reckon the clean weight with engine for such boat?

There is this Streaker 5.85 Tournament in Victoria for sale unfortunately it is powered by a 2 stroke Yammie or els it would just slightly fit into my budget and purpose of usage. I am not sure the Yammie dealer would do good trade-in deals do they?

Is your tow car 4x4? Just reverse till the rear wheels touch the water.

It doesn't matter the weight of the boat.

The main thing is the trailer design. The boat sits low on the trailer which mean less chance for the boat rear hit the bottom.

Always winch on in such depth even with drive-on type trailer.

Maybe I misrepresent my description previously, what I meant is the ramp and seabed in certain Port Phillip Bay area are shallow and if the boat is heavy, especially fiber, then the hull will be dragging along the ramp and seabed.

I saw before a 6mtr alu boat only needs 0.5mtr depth of water to propel, the bouyancy varies significantly between both materials.

Make a extension with a hub and wheel for the trailer in such condition. I reckon under $500 to DIY.

You don't like to have a few scratches even on alu boat.

Of course... my boat will be my prime property before my fishing tackles and I will NOT allow any scratches to my toy!

I spend more time caressing and looking after my toys than my wife though...

2，你船上如果碰地最先碰的地方是发动机，不是船身
3，一般主要的 boat rump，channel 的水深对于这些船基本都够用的了。

For example where I use to launch my boat in North Eastern Port Philip Bay the water level can be as shallow as 1 feet or so during Neap tide. We may adjust our engine with the tilt however I seen people dragging/pushing their boats in knee-high water.

By saying that if I do change to a bigger/heavier model I would have launched from other deeper ramps, by travelling further and paying more parking fees.

Unfortunately certain launching facilities in Victoria need proper maintenance like dredging or patching uneven holes.

During Snapper season here you see lots of weird boaters, not to mention people abuse each other and fighting involves too. Certain ramps you can actually see police officers stationed at the spot.

You are lucky to get your boat in the water within 2 hours in queue during peak season. Fishing and boating suppose to be receational and relaxing but it can also turns violence and tension.

Looks like I need to tow my boat and migrate to your state, in terms of better facilities and fishing qualities...

whittley的SL22的BEAM也只有2.2meter,与其他几家H打头的厂家相比，在6.5米长的船，BEAM都是2.4. 请问UP哥，BEAM2.4，抵抗横向风浪会更好一些吗？还有SL22这个船配的VOLVO 200HP的性能可靠吗？

sealegend 的倾斜会有点大的，但是抗横向风浪这20cm是看不出来那么多不同的，主要是hull的设计上，在吃水后V后面的变化。
至于volvo 200HP，确实没啥研究，我一直以为用在大的柴油引擎上的。
