从来不参加FOOTY TIPPING COMPETITION, 丝毫不感兴趣 , 不过刚收到这封邮件,宣布了头三名(因为是公司举办的,第一名只有150刀 哈哈), 写的很有点意思, 体现了多数澳洲人的幽默, 分享一下
Dear Tippers,
Congratulations to John C who swooped home to win with a bonus point in the final round for picking 8 winners.
Second prize goes to John E – just pipped at the post. Third prize is shared by Graham E and David C. And no doubt David Br and Kerry will proudly bear their joint title of most mediocre performance for the year.
May it be noted for future reference that Ian’s strategy of going out on a limb in the last couple of rounds doesn’t work. Many thanks to those who ended up below Billie (7 years old) and Daisy (4 years old). And thanks to all of those whose extra comments gave me a laugh each week.
