Depending on the AoS period for the parent visa and regardless
of circumstances, any payment of certain social security benefits
that is paid to a parent migrant during the relevant period must
be repaid to Centrelink by the person who provides an AoS. For
Parent category visa holders, this period is 2 years and, for
Contributory Parent category visa holders, this period is 10 years
even if the person becomes an Australian citizen.
