Annual Leave
Entitlement
For each year of service with an employer, an employee is entitled to
• 4 weeks of paid annual leave; or
• 5 weeks of paid annual leave, if the employee a shift worker
Annual leave accrue (38 hrs per week full time worker)
152/12 = 12.667 hrs per month
152/52 = 2.923 hrs per week
152/1976 = 0.076923 per hour
Leave loading: A pay bonus when on recreation leave based on the theory that workers are entitled to extra money because when they are on holidays and they won't be paid extra for working overtime. When the employees take annual leave, employer must pay them 17.5% annual leave loading calculated on their ordinary time rate of pay.
For this particular case
START DATE: 25-Jun-10
TERM DATE: 14-Jan-13
Completed Service Years: 2.56 Years
AL entitlment = 152*2.56= 389.12 hrs minutes leave taken hours according to your record, then the result will be the final balance as at 14 Jan 2013 |
