it is Christmas Holiday now.

If you choose the leave without pay, you will still be entitled for the payment for public holiday during Christmas Holiday. However you are not entitled for the public holiday payment, if you take the leave without payment during other periods.

If you choose the leave with pay, your employer will deduct your annual leave for the Christmas holiday. At the same time, you will be paid 9% for the super guarantee. If you choose without pay, you won't get the 9% super guarantee during Christmas Holiday. At the end of your employment, you won't get the 9% super for your annual leave.
