我抱着死马当活马医的心态打电话给GE 28 degree (credit card company). 隔了俩天, 一位小姐回电. 她态度不是很好, 没有ebay小鬼魅那么有柔功, 显然没练过太极, 尽管她是中国人. 可能她手上有很多cases要处理, 所以言简意赅, 1,2,3,4 ...9 一上来就给我列了个清单, 要我email 她.

我照做. 过了大概3天, 我的钱回来了. 同胞妹sent me an email, and told me that a charge-back case established. The money is frozen. I can see it, but I can't use it because the seller has a chance to appeal.

Now it is his turn when he is sleepless. Neither Paypal, nor the seller ever contacted me in the next one month. I just ocationally had a look at my bank statement. After a month, I would like to know the final result because credit company just instructed me to keep the lens and make sure it was ready for the seller's pick-up. The seller is in Germany. I called Paypal and a man went through my case on his screen and told me that it had nothing to do with Paypal because it was going through bank system. When I asked him for the seller's response. He unfriendly replied that he had no obligation to tell me. No obligation for the seller to contact me either. I don't understand why he can't play Taiji.

I had no choice at that time than sending email to credit card company and seeking advice from the Chinese girl. She replied next day that I continued waiting for the seller's message. I told the girl that I wanted to return the lens to the seller. The girl stoped me immediately. I should not have such a silly idea becuase the seller might say that he never received the returned lens. That means that the charge-back has to be reversed in this case. I would loose the lens and money, both!

Anyway, I had the money and the lens on hand. Still no message from the seller who might be busy with fighting with GE 28 Degree. I guess that my credit card company might appoint a top gun of Taiji playing with the seller.

another 3 months later, no response from any bodies, seller, paypal, and credit card company. I was upset again. What should or could do with the lens? I don't want to own both, which is illegal! at least I felt guilty, to be honest with you.

I called the Chinese girl and asked her how I could dispose of the lens, sell it or return it. The girl laughed and told me that I could do whatever I want to do becuase the case was closed. I asked further whether there was any possibilities the seller might get the money back. She said, "No, N ... O".

Finally I got money and the lens. I don't understand how come the seller have not contacted me since I filed a case at Paypal 6 months ago.

In most cases, seller will unconditionally accept returns in order to keep 100% rate. Only when he was 100% sure of that he would win without any doubt. That is why he refused my return request, I think.

However, he lost everything in the end. There is black record on his credit, not only on ebay, but also on banking. He had to pay a charg-back fee (very high, because lots of time and energy both banks invested in this case) as a punishment. He is in a bad situation when he argues with any buyers in future. Also bank will freeze his sales revenue for a longer time in case there is some charge-back happens.

Please don't shift the focal point. I don't intend to blame of the seller. I want to introduce you the procedure or process in Paypal. How rediculously Paypal is handling the cases. You could see it from the excuses they used in my case.

Also you will see that much more clear in my second case. (to be continued tonight)
if it is good or useful to you, please don't hesitate to through your points in. I need to buy a new pair of shoes, which is so expensive, not affordable at all!
(I sold the lens to one of my Ebay friends in US, who is a repair man.  I learnt rom him 80% of my knowledge how to exam the quality of a lens. I will mention him in my second case fighting with Paypal.)

有用, why don't you throw points in? you might use the link to see the previous chapter. I don't know why I could not see it. Could you please check the reason why I could not browse? Can you see it without my link?
