我有local pass，每次39，小孩29；
The local pass is for local resident. If lives in Bright, that counts for local. Basically, you still pay about 200 for a local pass card, then refill it every time you go to Mt Hotham/Falls Creek, $29 for children and $39 for adult. Local ski resort entry is $45 for a car each day.
I improved so much because my sons learned skiing much faster. They started at same level (beginner) as me. just few courses, my eldest one straightaway went to advance track such as Twilight zone/ Black Snake etc. He also followed his school teacher to Gotcha and Orchid in Mt Hotham, which are expert level here. I felt so embarrassed that I lagged behind.
Anyway, I went to advance track (black snake) with him the other day. I should say the most important thing in skiing is confidence. When I saw the steep path, I felt my feet trembling and head fainting. However, I could not retreat and had to go down with him and other people. Once you finished it, you would say, what the F--K, that's it; I can do it again. Since then, I felt any beginner or intermediate (green) tracks were not attractive or challenging at all and I went straight to advance tracks now.
