Part Time Accountant
I require the part time services of an accountant for small office located in Coorparoo. From now through to December 2012 it will be 0-3 days per week, then 0 -2 days until June. You will need to have previous experience in preparing all types of tax returns as well as preparing company, trust, and super fund accounts.
You MUST possess following (do not waste my time or yours by applying if you do not have these qualifications).
1. I would prefer a CPA or CA, but someone having worked in a public practice office for at least 5 years may prove suitable.
2. You must have recently worked in a public practice office for at least 3 years.
3. You must have experience with MYOB software (Solution 6). I will consider someone with extensive Handisoft experience.
4. I would expect that you have undertaken professional development on a regular basis and are up to date on taxation rules.
You are going to have to work independently and be able to complete work without much supervision. Hence, the experience and familiarity with MYOB. I do have work programs and procedures which will assist you in completing assigned work.
I feel the position would be suitable for a recently retired accountant, or a mother (CPA, CA), with child, looking to return to the work force on a part-time basis.
Please, only apply if you meet criteria, even if you have been financial controller for BHP you are of no use to me.
