CA考完了，我又该何去何从？？ [复制链接]

最后一门CA也考完了，现在再等成绩了，如果顺利通过，我又萌生了环工作的打算，我目前在practice,但总觉得我们华人在事务所，很快就遇到了瓶颈，我目前工作基本上觉得都不难，客户不一样，但是做法都是按照税法，所以，基本上都可以轻松应付，但是，很强烈的感觉在往上走就很难了。我现在在想还应不应该继续留在会计这个行业，跳去commerical但是还是在这个行业里，要不然就直接跳出来，去其它的行业？？？我现在个人没什么想法，感觉很迷茫，困惑，看看那位同学可以给些意见和看法，我没准可以从中借鉴。

How many staff are there in your firm atm? When are you expecting to be promoted to Senior level?

I'm going to ask for a pay rise, but ideally, I could find something else to do, even in commerical, I think that is even better paid then public practice.

Em...depends on i think. Not when you are on a senior or above level. Firms cry for senior + level staff -- at least this is what agents told me & also what I saw in our firm.

but the thing is I was approached by several agents already to offer me interviews for senior level positions in other practice...but I do not want to go, I feel sick of it already....no matter how much pay rise you can get, you are underpaid in public practice, so for me I think it is time to move on once get my CA this year in june

i definitely understand what you mean - had enough of public practice.
Good luck for the job hunting then. I had a few colleagues & friends who moved to industry -- didn't seem to have much problem at all.
I guess you just need to be mindful that the agents will try to talk you out of it by telling you how hard it is -- just ignore them. So much easier and quicker for them to get the commission if they can sell you to a public practice.
