Indirect Cost Ratio
Indirect Cost Ratio
The Indirect Cost Ratio (ICR) is the ratio of management costs not deducted directly from members' account balances against the average net assets of the investment option over the period.
The ICRs shown for each investment option include all internal and external fees incurred in managing these funds. They include a member protection levy* (introduced on 1 November 2004) that protects small account balances and those fees charged by external investment managers, as well as custodial and valuation fees.
The actual amount you will be charged each year depends upon the size of the fund, the type of assets held, the investment mandates given to the investment managers, the actual investment performance achieved and any performance-based bonuses paid.
