Hi LZ,
With regard to the proper page counts of CV, I don't think you have to strictly execute Noted Careers' advice. In the end of the day, what they suggest is only advice, and the only thing matters is the results of your job applications.
From what I learnt from career centre of university and other sources, I don't believe 5-page CV works better than shorter versions. In fact, Noted Careers provided me with a less than 3 pages CV back to 2 years earlier. Grammatical & spelling errors on their 'customised CV' were not strange to me. So I worked on my CV from there. It was a good CV framework, I couldn't say no to that. So, I PROOF READ MY CV, and corrected errors by myself. You should take responsibility for your future. If you don't do this, no one else could care less.
As to seeking refund, I would say you can either do it a 'naughty' way (see above), or ask for regulation bodies' help. No guarantee to it, but it won't hurt much, if you have the time & energy. |
