We offer a range of services across a continuum of care from preschool and childcare through to counselling and in-home support. We provide innovative and early intervention programs that support children, young people and their families giving them a better chance in life now and in the future.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chinese Playgroup Worker to join our Monash Chinese Family Services Project as a maternity leave replacement.

This role reports to the Chinese Family Services Project Coordinator, and primarily is to facilitate a Playgroup for Chinese speaking families with preschool age children.

Other duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Promote the Chinese Playgroup within relevant community networks.
Liaise regularly with parents participating in the Playgroup for feedback & improvement.
Plan weekly activities with input from parents.

To be successful in this position, you will need training and/or experience in the early childhood field, particularly Playgroup experience and demonstrated ability to teach Chinese songs and music to children is desirable.

Current Working With Children and Police checks are required.
