Australian singer Delta Goodrem has split with her long-term fiance, Irish pop singer Brian McFadden.
Their break up was announced via a statement today.

"Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden regretfully announce that they are no longer engaged, and after much consideration, have mutually decided to end their relationship," it said.

"This decision has been made with a lot of soul searching from both parties with the realisation that they have grown apart."
The two became engaged back in 2007 but never managed to find the time for a wedding. Last year McFadden said they would definitely be wed by the end of 2010.

McFadden is known to Australian TV audiences from his stint on Australia's Got Talent. The former Westlife singer has two children from a previous relationship.

Goodrem is currently living in Los Angeles where she is working on her next album.

在两人合作这首歌曲之后，两人走到了一起。

youtue官方版MTV 将故事演绎的十分细腻。根据Wiki故事有两个结局"There are two alternate endings to the video: the "happy" ending where McFadden and Goodrem are reunited in the taxi as it drives away from the airport, and the "sad" ending where McFadden is by himself after the taxi leaves with Goodrem inside. The latter was released to music television shows while the former is available on the CD single." 官方版是happy的结局。  "sad"的结局我没有找到。

youtue生活版应该是两人已经定婚之后的表演，这时候的表演与官方版就有不同的感受。无论是表演者，还是我们观众。尤其当你了解这些背景时，又是另一番滋味。

"I was so honoured to be asked to write a song for the Games and to take part in the event itself was such an amazing experience. When I sat down to write the song I was just hoping it was something that people would enjoy," Delta said. "It's my favourite kind of song to write and it's a song for the athletes and all of us to come together and reach for our dreams and goals. I am just thrilled that people have embraced it."

Brian Nicholas McFadden (12 April 1980), is an Irish singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the late 90s as a member of the Irish male band, Westlife. He is now a judge on Australia's Got Talent.

联邦运动会的这首歌把 Goodrem 的演唱水平发挥到极致，她非常适合唱此类型滴。。

发这个贴有两个原因。

1. 之前根本不知道Goodrem和McFadden是谁。当了解之后，觉得自己太out了，不应该。
2. 两年前有朋友告诉我"Raise me up"这首歌，挺喜欢听的。现在知道Westlife演唱的"Raise me up", 而McFadden又是Westlife的前成员。
