About salary packaging - Smartsalary

Have anyone heard of salary packaging?  My company is a health-care related company and uses "Smartsalary" for salary packaging to reduce the taxable income.  Do anyone know whether salary packaging can be used to pack rental payment for private contract ?  

Also, would that increase the taxable income of the landlord ?  Thanks.

Smartsalry滿大的..以前我公司都做NSW public school teacher, 我記得也是用smartsalary, 還不錯. 就給他們admin fee, 然後就有幫你做salary packaging admin這樣.

能不能用rental payment, 這我就不太知道說. 好像是要relocated employee才能用.. BUT not too sure.. 可以打電話問問smartsalary.

Salary packaging很多用在laptop, salary sacrifice還有車子這些東西上面.

我们公司也有salary packaging, public sector,we can claim private rental, but will need solid evidence. I think this is nothing to do with your landlord as by law he/she needs to claim this income no matter you do the salary packaging or not. However, if you would like to keep the rental "private", you may choose other things to claim. I was using my credidt card payment.
anyway, the best is to check with "Smartsalary" or they nomally have broucher or FAQ for you to check.

For credit card, does "Smartsalary" accept those cards issued by bank in oversea countries ?

Also, in the application form, if I choose the option 1 - "I would like to package the entire tax-free cap", but can not claim all the money in the Smartsalary account, can I get back the remaining money from the Smartsalary account at any time ?

如果你能提供租房合同就可以做Package. 和房东没关系.
如果你从私人那里没有合同,也可以Package其他项目里如出去吃饭的收据,还有平时日常消费超市买东西的加油的都行,水电费都行.

so it would not increase the taxable income of 房东 if our 租房合同 is private. am i right ?
