TPG new customers, be careful

Sorry I can't type chinese, i will be very grateful if someone can translate this into chinese for me.

My friend joined TPG online and signed up the $59 ADSL unlimited + homephone.  He lives in an apartment in city, TPG informed him someone would go to his place for installation on Friday afternoon, but no one turned up.  So he rang and they said no one will come as they encountered technical issues and the case has been forward to the engineer.  His account has been debit from Friday but there was no connection yet.  Then someone in the helpdesk department send an email with a picture explaining how they have no responsibility for the wiring problem as they have already connected to the building.  And my friend contacted the building manager, strata but no one knew what was he talking about.  So he called TPG again, they said they can organise a staff to solve the problem with a charge of $99.  Next day the staff came and fixed the problem within five minutes.
To my very surprise, another friend of mine encountered exactly the same thing from TPG, I wondered if this is a way how they rip new customer off.  
I think they have the reponsibility to connect the service in the first place.

below is the letter from TPG:

Your ADSL has been already been installed. It is now activated up to the network boundary point of your building which is your MDF (Main Distribution Frame). However, internal wiring issue was detected at your end that is why you still cannot use the service.

    Upon installation, Telstra Technician detected that there is no line from your MDF going to your unit's address. Your ADSL and Home Phone line were already connected at  Vertical A Pair 8 of your MDF and needed to be jumpered to the port B that goes to your unit. Unfortunately, Telstra technicians are not authorized to do the job because it is already out of their network and it is already a private connection.


  Below is an illustration of how the connection goes to your unit just to  give you a clearer picture.

我想你的朋友理解错了，ADSL2不需要上门安装的，特殊情况上门一定要收钱的，TPG要给上门的contract钱的

MDF以后（到你家）都是你自己责任，TPG说的很清楚，MDF到你家没有线，“no line from your MDF going to your unit's address”，Telstra不会去碰这一段线除非你授权（当然了$99），这个很明显是你或者你的物业管理的责任，你或者你的物业管理可以自己搞掂，如果请Telstra就要给钱了，同意KA爷，$99真不贵

这边就是这样的， 所以说打labour的比作office 的拿得多。慢慢习惯就行。

老实说，在澳洲，99块就帮你开通了，不错了。 最怕收了钱还办不成事，到时候telstra 与 tpg推皮球的时候才欲哭无泪呢。

明天要上门安装了，预防起见，刚给TPG发了个email:
During installation, if you found any problem(s) such as there is no connection from MDF to my unit, please help us to fix the problem, I authorise you to do anything to fix the problem(s) which you found during installation, if it is out of your network or it is a private connection.
这样应该可以防止这个情况发生了吧

朋友刚装了tpg的ulimited，也有和楼主同样的情况，tpg报告说telstra的technician过来看发现没连接就走了，让朋友去找strata要求连线。
朋友就奇怪了明明早就有了电话接口而且插上电话拨打的时候里面电脑语音说未开通function,请与telstra联系。于是立刻又给tpg打电话问这是怎么回事，这个时候tpg客服就向telstra投诉了，当天回到家，电话，网络立马全通

这个事情确实不管TPG的事儿，TELSTRA 给你弄得话 就是$299.  TPG收你99相对来说很划算的了.

今天安装，结果早上没有人出现，刚才接到个电话说是TPG的contractor, 发现LZ说的问题，然后说如果我希望他fix，要付他150刀，他下午再来一次。。。没有同意， 然后给TPG打电话，等了半天说给我转给技术部，又等了半天结果电话断了，晕阿

这个MDF到家里的connection能不能自己给连上呢，有人知道吗

这个我去年安装就碰到了，当时请假在家等接通，Telstra那该死的阿三给我接到了另一栋楼，然后说接通了，TMD电话都没信号。投诉抱怨了TPG，折腾了好几个礼拜，后来Strata找了电工，查到原因，自己掏了$100。那个电工说这样的事情很多，都是Telstra的那帮猪搞的是，因为TPG抢了他们的饭碗。

更新下， 前面打TPG电话断了，刚才TPG打电话过来，又把这个问题说明了一遍，然后说让我自己找building manager或者找个technician把jumper wire接上，如果找TPG的话要收99刀，我说这个应该是TPG负责的，不愿意交99刀，他说帮我申请免费服务，但是要下周给我答复，因为要领导批准
