Ryde hospital is a public hospital. It didn't cost me anything to have my baby there. The consultations, ultrasounds, delivery and midwives' home visits are free as long as you've medicare. The best part of having a baby with Ryde hospital is that they have the best midwives. The only concern is that Ryde is not a tertiery hospital and has no obstetrition or ICU. Therefore, if you need an epidural or caserean section, you'll be transfered to RNSH. For low risk pregnancies, I definitely recommend Ryde hospital. |
