haha i actually switched from Dp1 to GRD3
because the lens on dp1 won't retract even battery is fullly charged, and sigma hk wouldn't repair it because i couldn't show them the receipt that i lost here...
maybe your friend should also try shooting dp1 and push process (black and white) to ISO3200, google carl rytterfalk, hes a very active Foveon user :)
GRD3 will be a great companion, as long as you have mastered the 28mm GR lens, I am still learning hahaa
forgot about one thing, seems you are kinda worrying about the focus ability of the camera, you should really should have a go on the "snap mode" it's basically scale focus, taking advantage of the smaller sensor thus deeper DOF. It works, it really works |
