维省螃蟹捕捞须知

魔头

Fishing Licence 必须。 除以下情况：

• You will not need a licence to fish if you are:
• under 18 years of age;
• 70 years of age or over;.

or a holder of a :

• Victorian Seniors Card or interstate equivalent;
• Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Card;
• Veterans' Affairs Repatriation Health Card coded (TPI)
• Commonwealth Pensioner Concession Card coded either (DSP), (DSP Blind), (AGE), (AGE Blind) or (CAR)

Crabs (all species except giant crabs)
Minimum legal size: no minimum.

Bag/possession limit: total limit of 30 crabs or 1 litre.

Collection methods for crabs: By hand or use of a spear, or no more than 2 recreational hoop nets or 2 bait traps

All species of crab must not be taken from the intertidal zone of Port Phillip Bay or from Marine National Parks and Marine Sanctuaries.






Recreational Hoop Nets(Marine)

Rock lobster, crabs and other species may be taken with recreational hoop nets provided no hoop exceeds 77cm in diameter and the net drop is no deeper than 50cm.

Catch limits, size limits and closed seasons apply to rock lobster. A catch limit applies to crabs.


Closed season for hoop nets
From 1 September to 15 November (inclusive)
each year you may not use a recreational hoop net in any marine water other than Port Phillip Bay, Western Port, the Gippsland Lakes or any inlet of the sea.

A maximum of two labelled, recreational hoop nets may be used or possessed within 400m of any marine water.

为什么前者有尺寸和深度规定 而后者没有？
