请教各位：做IT service的要申请什么公司形式呢？

替男朋友问问，他和他现在的同事们想要自己做IT service，就是网络构建以及维护等服务。他问我，因为我学会计的，不过我真的不知道具体的，是要申请sole trader, partnership,还是 pty Ltd 那种公司的形式呢？ 他现在在申请域名，也需要提供 ABN 或者ACN. 如果申请公司的话，费用比较高，请问如果申请sole trader 或者partnership 可以吗？ 多谢了！！

yes, they can certainly trade through partnership, even though it is not a preferred trading form today. most people decide to adopt sole trader/partnership for cost saving reasons, sole trader/partnership do not limit the liability like trust/company, and its ability to save tax is very limited. therefore, most business in the long run have to adopt a more complex structure.

多谢！还想请问一下如果是申请 sole trader /partnership 去哪个网站申请呢？ 是不是之申请ABN就可以了呢？有没有那个网站有解释申请流程以及相关问题的呢？ 谢谢啦！！

请问如果申请partnership，要有办公室吗？ 可以用住址作为办公室吗？谢谢！

your residential place can be used as your business premise .   be minded carefully when claiming rate, rental, housing loan sort of thing etc. unless your accountant advises otherwise.
