好奇去洗衣机论坛找到了一个内容相同的帖子,有个高人跟您分享的结果一样:
肯定是违反了在路口实线变道的相关交规,但是不归红灯摄像头管。
A camera can't detect what his intention were.
Correct, but (in NSW in this situation) you can only be prosecuted on camera evidence for a traffic light offence and the law is clear...
ROAD RULES 2014 – REG 56
(2) A driver approaching or at traffic arrows showing a red traffic arrow who is turning in the direction indicated by the arrow must stop:
Did he cross the stop line? There is your offence.
It's not as simple as that. OP did not "turn in the direction indicated by the arrow" and, if the circle was green, they have not committed a traffic light offence (you are allowed to cross the stop line when faced with a green circle).
he broke the law in one form or another.
Correct. But the appropriate offence is against the lane arrows. In most states, this is not able to be prosecuted by RLCs. If the offence was observed by police, they may have been in strife.
it doesn't make what he did right.
No. But equally, he should not be prosecuted for something he did not do. IIRC, an infringement against the lane arrows carries a lower monetary penalty and less demerits than a traffic light offence.
