Principal Water Engineer
The Principal Water Engineer will have a leading role in the water management projects and business development undertaken by the Water & Infrastructure Group (W&IG) on a diverse range of projects. These projects may vary from hydrological and water resource studies, hydrological and flood modelling, stormwater management (investigation and design), water resources management investigations, concept development and feasibility assessment for new water supply schemes (or upgrade of existing schemes), preparation of water management plans, environmental flow evaluations, and contribution to environmental approvals and engineering design for water infrastructure and multi-disciplinary catchment management. The role will require guidance, direction, and review of technical work on projects.
As the Principal Water Engineer, you shall be responsible for assisting in the leadership and direction of staff within W&IG. You will also be leading development programmes to provide training and coaching for all levels of staff within the group.
You will network with similar skilled professionals within the broader Asia Pacific practice and water business line to identify and develop new business opportunities, project resources and the technical development of our staff.
Principal Environmental Scientist / Engineer
(Contaminated Land)Our Brisbane office has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Engineer or Scientist. Leading a team of professionals within the Geoscience Group, specialising in Contaminated Land, you will work on a diverse range of projects within the Asia Pacific region, based in Brisbane.
The contaminated site work includes soil and groundwater investigations and remediation services, and will draw on skills in engineering, geology, soils, chemistry and water.
The Principal Environmental Engineer or Scientist will be primarily responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and input to projects and peer review of reports, maintaining existing business/clients and developing new business opportunities.
Your tertiary qualifications, together with a minimum of 15 years experience in contaminated land and remediation and business development skills will be essential for the role.
