如果天天去上班的话， 可以达到一周的cap了，周沫倒也算是免费的了。问题是以前从来没到过cap

好像看了opal网上的说明：
Opal Transfer Discount
Adult Opal card holders and contactless card users get a $2 discount for every transfer between metro/train, ferry, bus or light rail as part of one journey within 60 minutes from the last tap off.

Child/Youth, Gold Senior/Pensioner and Concession Opal card holders get a $1 discount for every transfer between modes.

Once you reach the Weekly Travel Reward of half-price travel, the Opal Transfer Discount is also reduced by 50%.

While we are running the 50% discount for off-peak fares, some fares are below $2. If the second trip costs less than the $2 transfer discount, the discount will be capped at the second trip price.

In the event where a second trip’s transfer discount equals the cost of the second trip fare, there will be no discount on a third trip.

Trips that include transfers between Sydney Metro, Sydney Trains and/or NSW TrainLink Intercity services are considered a continuous journey. No need to tap off and on again between services, and you’ll be charged a single fare.

一直都是$2.5，上次涨价提高到了$2.8，如今一下子提高到了$8.05

2月25日就完成了听证会了，不过IPART也只有评估，建议还有审核作用，最后拍板在政府

关于这一点，我询问了opal, 得到了不同的答案。
The provision of a $2 discount when transferring between different modes of transport within 60 minutes has not changed; however, due to the 50% discount now being applied to off-peak trips, there are occasions where short journeys may incur a fare that is less than the $2 discount being provided, resulting in that fare being charged at $0.

To ensure equitable and balanced pricing across the network for all patrons, Transport for NSW has amended the transfer rules for trips impacted by this discount. In the instance that you travel on one mode of transport and transfer to a second mode, incurring a $0 fare because of the $2 discount, your next trip that is transferred to within 60 minutes will be charged at the standard rate, with no transfer discount applied. These fares will still receive all other benefits, including off-peak discounts, weekend caps, and daily/weekly caps.
