With Box Hill touted as Melbourne’s second CBD, with the suburb’s skyline beginning to fill with 30-storey and even higher apartment towers, and with our roads congested, we need action.


上面两条都是墨尔本本地大报纸的新闻，绝非华人小道消息可言

工党为了赚华人的钱要把Box Hill打造成第二CBD，但是又不想自己掏钱修交通搞基建，

尤其是去年联邦大选Box Hill选区的华人，一边倒支持自由党，墨尔本工党更不想掏钱了

估计等联邦大选工党上台后，就可以名正言顺的从悉尼那里抢钱过来修Box Hill了

其实修什么不重要，最重要是修起来，这样全墨尔本都会受益的。
什么east west link, north east link, western distributor，其实都对城市发展起到很大的推动作用。

2016那次大选 boxhill 是边缘选区，最后自由党只赢了2000多票。应该是两党都要拉拢的选区才对吧。

box hill 在Plan Melbourne 30年计划里很明确的是一个activity centre. 和Ringwood, narre Warren， Epping的性质是一样的。没有CBD之说。

Melbourne在30年计划里没有第二CBD的概念。 在Melbourne， 以后就有两个概念， 一个是job center， 工作中心，一个是activity 中心， 活动中心。 而box hill 是活动中心。

正解，都是卖房中介使劲炒作，就那点人口密度除了city哪都没法成cbd。没有大量商业用地和公寓支撑，没法弄
