For 2015/2016, no matter what car you are driving, only allowed to claim $0.66/km. Therefore, the maximum you can claim by using cents per km, will be 5000km x $0.66 = $3300.
You do not need to fill up so much detail of your car expenses, such as fuel, reg & insurance, r&m etc. Simply fill up how many km you have travelled for the financial year, the system should work out for you. Check before you lodge.
Unless you have done your logbook and found that claiming logbook method which would be more favourable to you, then used logbook instead of. Otherwise, normally cents per km would be better & easy.
