Unless the cold develops into bronchitis or a lung infection, Australian GPs usually will not prescribe anti-biotics. It's useless against a viral cold anyway.
If you can, have less contact with the baby, provided that you have other members in your household to help you. Open the windows and allow fresh air into the house.
Worst case scenario is that the baby gets sick as well but it will build up their immunity. |
