请问commercial analyst面试时需要突出些什么？

刚刚给我发EMAIL，让我去面试，请问面试时需要着重突出哪些SKILL/PERSONALITY呢？目前已经知道的是面试的时候需要做test，给数字，做一个model出来，但没问清是computer base还是纸上的。有没有做过commercial analyst或者business analyst的tx给点意见～～谢谢～～

Commercial Data Analyst - Role Summary

This role provides a high level of analytical analysis directly to the Commercial and Staffing Mangers within the company. The CDA role requires an individual who can provide strategic analysis to the business by supporting the financial and staffing departments across Sydney and Melbourne business locations.

The role reports directly to the designated Commercial Manager.



        Prepare monthly revenue export schedules by client and office.

        Update global REV system to reflect monthly revenue and 3 month forecast exports by client and by office.

        Prepare and submit 3 month forecast for revenue exports.

        Ensure top quartile performance with timely update of integration of revenue system.


Pipeline Updating requirements are to:

        Ensure the pipeline system is updated on a weekly basis.

        Target  top-quartile performance with timely update of integration of REV and Pipeline.


Headcount Maintenance and Reporting requirements are to:

        Maintain the headcount forecast for locals, experience share and case demands on a daily basis.

        Submit monthly headcount numbers in the headcount reporting system.

        Ensure space planning analysis is regularly maintained and updated with current information.
        Prepare weekly staffing forecast summaries by level of consulting resource.

        Develop and maintain rolling strategic 12 month pyramid plans on staffing utilisation and availability

        Prepare various staffing forecast models and update for people movements.

        Provide Staffing Manager with weekly assistance to generate Client Development snapshots and Client Development pipeline views.

HCS responsibilities will require you to:

        Update and maintain Human Capital System (HCS) for staffing changes.

        Liaise with global staffing managers and update the HCS system to capture changes between offices to ensure integrity of information within the database.

        Generate monthly client profitability analysis reports with the Management Accountant.

        Target top-quartile performance within Bain globally on the timeliness of updates and submission of weekly resource snapshots.

Good understanding and exposure to business & industry
Medium to advanced excel skills

Sorry just saw this is a Commercial Data Analyst role, not a commercial analyst role. Then attention to detail &ability to meet deadline would be very important. Make sure to prepare examples for these.

What kind of example should I give? and what's the difference between commercial analyst & commercial DATA analyst?

data analyst顾名思义是更多的分析数据的，commercial analys更多的分析business运营

一些特别具体的报告，系统，你不用特别worry,因为那是每个公司都不同的。

举例子可以以前工作里，你如何保证在截止日之前完成报告的；如何和不同领域的同事沟通的。翻翻论坛的贴子，有不少讲到面试问题的，你可以根据这些问题，自己多准备些例子。

可以问下你的background是什么吗？

刚毕业，ACCOUNTING/FINANCE专业，在一家小公司做BUSINESS ANALYST实习生，做了大概6，7个月，主要是在里面做点excel报表，分析下debt collection，cashier receipting frequency之类的。

这个职位听上去不错，utility section,不容易倒，也有机会多学习一些行业经验。加油！
