NAMING
The Chinese New Year Festival started 18 years ago as a small community event celebrating the contribution of Sydney’s Chinese community and is now one of the largest celebrations of the Lunar New Year in the world. The City supports a vibrant, creative and inclusive festival which shows the multicultural fabric of Sydney, celebrating the traditions of China, Korea, Vietnam and other countries that observe the lunar calendar.
In that light, can you indicate which of the following names is most appropriate for the festival?
A. Keep the name “City of Sydney Chinese New Year Festival”
