Nude bus to follow Olympic torch relay
A bus full of naked people will be among the crowds trying to get close to the Olympic flame in Canberra on Thursday.
A Sydney radio station which has been trying to stir up controversy by ferrying a group of naked people in a mini-bus all week is heading to Canberra on Thursday morning to get as close to the flame as they can.

Dubbed the Nova Nude Bus, it has been operating in Sydney for more than a week visiting sites such as Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's official residence Kirribilli House and Hillsong Church.
A spokeswoman for the station said that with heightened security they didn't expect to get very close to the flame, but wanted to give others who were travelling to see the torch something else to look at if they didn't get near it.
She insisted the station was not trying to stir up trouble or get in the way of the relay.
"They're just heading down to Canberra with all the other Olympic fans and will hopefully give them something to look at if they miss the torch," the spokeswoman said.
"We reckon there is more chance you'd spot the Nova Nude Bus than the Olympic torch."
The station's sports reporter Marto joked about the bus.
"Obviously, it is going to be cold down in Canberra so the closer we get to the warmth of the torch the better, for all concerned," he said.
It's the second publicity stunt for Nova 969 in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, the station's breakfast duo Merrick and Rosso were criticised for causing traffic disruptions after encouraging listeners to run out of fuel in peak-hour traffic in Sydney. |
