MTC Australia has been operating in the Sydney community since 1992. We are a not-for-profit community based organisation committed to assisting people to gain employment, skills training, work experience and career planning.

In our work, we maintain a particular focus on supporting people in building self-esteem, developing an excellent level of English language and literacy skill, commencing training programs and moving into meaningful employment.

We currently have an opportunity for a new Assessor to join our SEE Training team.  This role will have a ‘roaming’ requirement within the Western Suburbs at some of our key sites including Auburn, Parramatta, Fairfield, Cabramatta, Blacktown, Penrith and Campbelltown.

The key focus of the Assessor is to conduct Pre-Training Assessments against the Australian Core Skills Framework across multiple MTC Australia sites.  This role will offer a full time roster Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants will need to hold the following qualifications:

* Undergraduate degree of at least 3 years duration

* TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

* Recognised TESOL qualification

* At least 100 hours teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or Adult Literacy/Numeracy during the last 3 years

With regard to TAE, we are happy to provide a pathway to successful applicants needing to attain this, as long as commencement and completion occur within the first three months of joining MTC.
